If you are protesting you should definitely know why you would leave your house to hold a placard and appear on TV. Well not so for one of these protestors who in the company of St. Kitts and Nevis’ opposition legislator, Dr. Timothy Harris. Standing less than a mile away from where the 5th Inter-Sessional of the Conference of the Caribbean Heads of Government was being held, a small group of protestors held cardboard signs.
When asked by a local TV reporter why they were demonstrating a number of protestors were not sure what they were protesting about. However the presence of St. Kitts and Nevis’ opposition legislator, Dr. Timothy Harris was likely related to the current political situation in the St Kitts and Nevis.
While everyone obviously have a right to demonstrate, it seems in the best interest of any demonstration that everyone is on board with the right message.
